CrownGate

The CrownGate exhibition has been a great success so far, it has seen the introduction of four new artists Patrick Dunn, James Firkins, Mark Hilsden, Dekka Hussien and Warren McCabe Smith, who have really engaged with what we as a group are about. Facebook has all the up-to-date information.

This exhibition has been curated by Emma Starkey and Installed by Robin Woodward. Processes and past events will be posted soon. Below you can see a comparison of what we started with and how it had been changed into the contemporary gallery we have today.

One of our main aims as a group is to bring contemporary art to the general public to ensure that it is not just a 'elitist' past time the response we have had is amazing and we are so pleased with the results!

As a group we had planned to install a temporary wall and door but finances had ran short, this was going to be an area discreet enough to enable life drawing. Even so Emma Starkey took classes with Adults and Children at very cheap prices just to cover the equipment usage, this also had a great response from the public who engaged with us with figurative and still life drawing classes (all clothed).
